Before Construction

Buildability and Feasibility

We provide tailored construction advice and feasibility assessments for homeowners, often beginning during the property buying stage, to address each client’s specific needs.

Estimating and Competitive Tendering

We provide realistic pre-tender cost estimates to align client expectations with budget, timeline, and planning requirements from the outset. Our in-house cost estimators offer both preliminary pricing and detailed tender breakdowns, enabling accurate forecasting and competitive market pricing. When selected as the preferred contractor, we can allocate enhanced resources to ensure transparent quote breakdowns.

Early Contractor Involvement (ECI)

Our Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) saves time and cost by integrating builder expertise 6–36 months before construction. Through early collaboration with architects, designers, and engineers ECI improves project planning, risk management, and overall delivery. If required, we can also connect homeowners with recommended design partners in early project stages. 

During Construction

Project Management

As a valuable point of difference, one of our dedicated in-house Project Managers is strategically assigned to every project, along with a Contract Administrator. This team collaborates with the clients, architect, subcontractors, consultants and the site management team consistently for clarity and confidence. We foster open communication and proactive planning, regardless of project scale.

Construction Management

With knowledgeable expertise across the entire building process, our  Construction Managers will thoroughly review architectural and engineering documents, specifications, and drawings with site teams to maintain high standards in quality and project management. They lead the site and project management teams to meet the projected construction milestones by implementing best building practices, through training on innovation and methodology for quality assurance and a seamless execution.

Building Methodology

Our planning and building methodology, created and developed at tender stage, ensures efficiency, quality, and smooth execution at every milestone. Through meticulous planning, calculated sequencing and innovative construction techniques, we deliver an economic process for homeowners that anticipates challenges, optimises resources, and maintains strict quality standards.

After Construction

Handover

Our handover process post-build ensures a smooth transition for homeowners. We verify that all installations meet code requirements and compliance standards, working with licensed subcontractors to secure certificates for a smooth Occupation Certificate process. To support easy operation and maintenance, we provide an Owner’s Manual with detailed information on every aspect of the build for our clients

Post-Occupancy Maintenance (Optional)

To maintain the quality and value of your home, we recommend a maintenance plan beyond handover. This plan helps preserve the home’s condition and provides ongoing peace of mind. It includes comprehensive checks of all fittings, fixtures, and equipment to catch any potential issues early. Additionally, we offer training sessions with subcontractors to guide you on caring for your home.

We recognise the significant environmental impact of the construction industry and hold ourselves accountable. To lower this impact, we’ve implemented processes such as thorough recycling during demolition stage and ongoing waste removal, and sourcing and presenting sustainable building material alternatives. In addition, we reduce our carbon footprint by sticking to manufacturers and suppliers who are located in our area, to avoid unnecessary and excessive international and interstate transport. These practices extend from estimating to procurement, focusing on resource conservation and long-term resilience.

Our awareness on social responsibilities means that we prioritise mental health, inclusivity, and diversity, by providing a supportive work environment and training through MATES In Construction, HIA and Master Builders Association.
